This journey takes you through the stunning landscapes of Kazbegi National Park with breathtaking views of Mount Chaukhi towering above. Imagine fresh rivers, alpine meadows, and crisp mountain air filling your day.

Our hike begins in the charming village of Juta, where the trail leads us through vibrant valleys and up to an alpine lake sitting at the foot of Chaukhi ⛰️ The first stage of the hike includes a short but steep ascent that will quickly reward you with panoramic views. Along the way, we will cross a river on foot, adding a little extra thrill to the adventure.

The trail is moderate overall, easy for experienced hikers and a rewarding challenge for those with less experience. The 16 km hike takes about 4.5 to 5 hours with an elevation gain of 418 meters. Comfortable hiking boots are a must, and hiking poles will make the journey even easier 🥾

After soaking up the beauty of alpine meadows, waterfalls, and crystal-clear streams, we will relax near the 5th Season Hut or continue to the alpine lake below Chaukhi. In the evening, we will drive back to Tbilisi after a day full of fresh air, adventure, and unforgettable views 🌄

We will start with a scenic hike to the stunning 30 meter high Gveleti Waterfall 💦 The trail is short but exciting with an uphill walk that rewards you with the roar of falling water surrounded by dramatic cliffs. On the way we will also stop at the peaceful Dariali Monastery Complex where history and nature meet in a magical harmony.

The highlight of the day will be a visit to the 14th century Gergeti Holy Trinity Church ⛪. Perched high above Stepantsminda this iconic site offers one of the best chances to admire the snow capped peak of Mount Kazbegi 🏔 if the skies are clear. Before returning to Tbilisi we will also pause at Gudauri Panorama and the emerald waters of Zhinvali Reservoir 🌊
